UVU Raises Money, Support for Rape Victim

More than 1,000 UVU signed a 75-foot banner with good wishes to a UVU rape victim and donated more than $1,300 to pay for her medical bills. In return campus received a new sense of unity by coming together for their fellow UVU wolverine. "I run on the Provo River Trail, and it was a bit upsetting to hear about what happened to her,” said Joe Clarke. Read More


Ground Breaking for New Science Building

Construction started on the new UVU Science Building last Friday, August 6, 2010, in a formal ground breaking ceremony.  President Holland, Utah governor Gary Herbert,  state Senator John Valentine, Higher Education commissioner William Sederburg, and other dignitaries and donors, all took a turn at breaking ground.  The building is projected for completion in February 2012.  Read more


MBA Program Ready to Go

45 students will in the first MBA cohort at UVU this fall.  Currently a part-time MBA program, the course is designed for those already working or who are in business. There are two classes a semester on Friday night and Saturday morning. Those who enroll this fall will complete the course in June of 2012 with a total of 33 credits.  Read more
